Determining Placement

Pre-pointe is open to anyone in ballet three and above.

Pointe requires students to take at least two ballet classes a week, and be a minimum of eleven years of age. However, pointe placement is not determined by age. Pointe placement will be determined by the instructors, and students must receive permission from their instructor before getting pointe shoes. This rule is in place for dancer safety. Additionally, shoes should be inspected by the instructor of the class before they are sewn.
